This week the selection is "We Heard the Angels of Madness," by Diane and Lisa Berger ($10.00). I would highly recommend this for all parents of BP kids. The book is the actual story of finding out that your college age child is suddenly stricken with BP. Denial, Anger, Education and Acceptance are all discussed. Very helpful. What is interesting is every other chapter is educational. So you get a little of the family story...then material on "What is BP"...then back to the drama...then "How to find a therapist"... Really cool!! Hope this can help someone.

Another contribution: "We Heard the Angels of Madness" is designed to walk a family through the steps of BP - the chapters are in order to what needs to be done first, etc. Excellent organization. The authors are the mother and sister of the BP written about. Really gives a first-hand account of the shock of finding one of your children suffers from "The Beast."
